Rtn. Rajendra Kumar Mehta is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from S.G.S.I.T.S Indore. He was born in Indore on 19th October, 1946. His father, Shri Indermal Mehta was also a Social Worker, after doing Engineering Graduation he started his first job in Mumbai in 1970 as Apprentice Trainee.
Today he is one of the Directors/Whole Time Directors of S.Kumars Group Companies at Dewas/Pithampur. Rtn. R.K.Mehta joined rotary in 1994 as Founder President of Rotary Club of Indore Meghdoot; and he has worked in the district at various levels like GSR/District Secretary/ Asstt. Governor and Chairman Four Way Test promotion. He is also PHF. He has been asked to work as Counselor for Region I for the year 2o1o-2o11 under the Most dynamic leadership of DG Rtn. Dr. Nalini Langer.
Rtn. R.K. Mehta started the involvement of anns and their family members since beginning, so that fellowship has been very strong. And, with this attitude of Rtn. R.K.Mehta his club Meghdoot is today having about 9o members and mostly all are professionals with excellent team work. Today also Rtn. R.K. Mehta is very active in club. His dream for the DGN from Meghdoot has also come true with highest votes during this year for Rtn. Lokendra Papalal, Apart from Rotary activities Rtn. R.K. Mehta is also very actively involved in Association of Industries Dewas. He is also member of Yashwant Club & Sayaji Club. He has also won Table Tennis Championship in Rotary Sports Meet 2oo8 and Inter Industries Table Tennis Meet at Dewas.He is married to Rtn. Veena Mehta who is also very activeiy involved in Rotary and also doing her business as agent for S. Kumars' Towels in MP and Chattisgarh and blessed with one daughter Mrs Meghna Goel and two sons Vishal & Akash, Both sons are married. Vishal married to Sweta and Akash married to Priyanka.
